Financial Controller

This role provides the senior management team with a wide range of financial and commercial support and ensures that all activity relating to finance is consistent with corporate policy/guidelines.

The day to day nature of the role is to ensure that the business maximises its revenue/profit opportunities by sharing best practise and supporting the management team in reviewing operational efficiency and project implementation.

As a member of the Finance team you will actively contribute toward the delivery and success of the business.  The ability to make sound decisions across a broad range of situations, often under pressure, is therefore essential.
Essential Requirements for the Role
You must have a recognised accountancy qualification – preferably CIMA.
The successful candidate should have the following skills and experience:
  • Strong numerical and analytical skills.
  • Working as part of a small team
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, particularly those associated with influencing
  • Excellent management, communication and motivational skills
  • A confident self-starter, with the ability to operate in a dynamic environment.
  • A skilled user of Microsoft Excel and competent user of other Microsoft software.
  • Excellent knowledge of Sage 200 Accountancy Software
  • Creating and presenting Management Accounts
  • Generating Monthly Accounts
  • Managing debtors and creditors
  • Excellent knowledge of Sage 200 Accountancy Software
  • Forecasting and Cashflow
