Salary: £20,000-£25,000 (Experience Dependent)
Location: Carlisle
Hours: Full-time 

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a 1st/2nd Line IT Support to join a well established business within Carlisle. Your role will be to provide first class service and support to customers who contact the help desk. Using initiative and problem-solving skills, you will be responsible for delivering a professional level of remote IT Support to customers. 
You must have excellent communication skills and be able to deliver the highest level of customer service over the telephone. This role would suit someone with that has previous experience as a support officer. 
Applicants with previous experience in a similar role is essential. This is a busy and varied position and will suit an individual who can remain calm, collected and professional at all times.

  • An attentive manner and high standard of customer care
  • Great telephone mannerism
  • Excellent IT knowledge and skills
  • Competent in all administrative duties and good organizational skills
  • Experience and confidence when working with third parties and suppliers 
  • Able to manage time, prioritise and work to tight deadlines
  • Quick to learn and willing to undergo any additional training
  • Flexible and committed to getting the job done to the highest standard
  • A positive and engaging telephone manner

The successful applicant would need to be able to demonstrate a good level of technical skills and knowledge in the following areas:
  • Microsoft Windows Server/Desktop/Office knowledge
  • Active Directory
  • Office 365 and Exchange Administration 
  • Networking (Switches/Firewalls/Routers/WIFI)
  • Hyper-V
  • SharePoint
  • MDM - Mobile Device Management
  • ITIL
