Job type: Permanent
Salary: £35,000 – £40,000 (depending on experience)
Hours: Monday-Friday, full-time
Location: Carlisle, Cumbria
NXT is proud to be working in partnership again with an award-winning business as we recruit for a BI Analyst.
Experience working within a large-scale, multi-site business would be amazing!
Key duties will include:
- Developing, testing, documenting, and maintaining existing reporting solutions.
- Troubleshooting system issues and undertaking problem resolution tasks.
- Maintaining existing levels of integration between in-house systems.
- Reviewing existing reporting solutions and making recommendations for improvement.
- Providing solutions for new integrations and assessing their suitability from a technical and business perspective.
Skills and Experience:
- Previous experience of developing BI solutions
- Experience of Cognos Analytics and Cognos Framework Manager (desirable but not essential)
- Extensive experience with SQL, preferably SQL Server.
- First-rate communication and relationship-building skills.
- Experience with Microsoft SQL Server SSIS, Microsoft Excel VBA and SAP (desirable but not essential)
- Full driving license and willingness to travel to our sites across the UK.
