We are delighted to be recruiting for a Customer Service Assistant on behalf of an industry-leading local business. This is an ideal role for someone looking to transition into a customer service/administrative position who has excellent communication skills, attention to detail and is highly customer focused.
The role:
As a Customer Service Assistant, you will be responsible for providing an excellent customer experience, handling enquiries and processing orders.
Key Responsibilities:
- Process incoming customer orders accurately and efficiently using our order management system.
- Verify order details, including product availability, pricing, and shipping information.
- Communicate with customers regarding order status, changes, and any issues that may arise.
- Collaborate with warehouse staff to ensure timely picking, packing, and dispatch of orders.
- Maintain accurate records of orders processed and update the system as necessary.
- Assist in resolving any discrepancies or issues related to orders or inventory.
- Support the team with administrative tasks as required to enhance operational efficiency.
