Maintenance Operative

Location: Carlisle
Hours: Full time, Monday to Friday
Contract: Temporary ongoing
Hourly Rate: £13-£14/Hr. DOE

We’re recruiting for a maintenance operative on behalf of a well-established client in North Carlisle. This is a labour-intensive role in a workshop environment, ensuring facilities remain safe, clean, and fully operational.

Key responsibilities may include:
• Operate tools and equipment safely and effectively
• Assist with landscaping duties, bin emptying and litter collection
• Work with external contractors when specialist work is required
• Ensure all tasks are completed in line with health and safety regulations

About you:
• Comfortable working with hand tools and power tools
• Strong problem-solving skills with good attention to detail
• Reliable, hardworking and able to manage your own workload
• Confident communicating with tenants, colleagues and contractors
• Able to work independently as well as part of a team
• Full UK driving license required
