Transport Planner/Supervisor
- Salary: Up to £35,000 (DOE)
- Hours: Monday to Friday – No Weekends!

Key responsibilities
- Plan and Coordinate Transport Operations: Use your expertise to schedule routes, allocate resources, and ensure efficient delivery of goods
- Work with Transport Management Software: Experience with planning and scheduling software is essential to streamline operations and maintain accuracy
- Driver Management: Supervise and support drivers, ensuring they comply with legal and company standards
- Problem Solving: Quickly and effectively handle any logistical challenges to keep operations running smoothly
- Customer and Stakeholder Communication: Liaise with customers, suppliers, and internal teams to provide top-notch service and resolve issues promptly
- Shunting Duties: Perform HGV Class 1 shunting between two nearby sites, when required
Requirements:
- Transport Planning Expertise: Experience in transport planning and scheduling is essential
- Tech-Savvy: Proficiency in using transport management/planning software
- Leadership Skills: A confident and proactive approach to managing teams and resolving issues
- HGV Class 1 License: Essential for occasional shunting duties
