Job Type: Permanent, Full-Time
Hours: 4 on, 4 off – 10pm to 6am
Salary: £13.65 per hour
Location: Penrith

NXT Recruitment are working with a trusted family-run business to find a Night Shift Shop Assistant for their Penrith location.
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys the quieter hours, thrives with structure, and is confident working independently.

Responsibilities include:

Cleaning and maintaining the forecourt and shop overnight
Carrying out Costa coffee machine cleaning
Logging fridge and food temperatures accurately
Restocking shelves ready for the next day
Filling the cigarette unit before the end of your shift
Sorting and tidying the printed media section
Managing cardboard and general waste disposal

What you’ll need:

Reliable, self-motivated and comfortable working alone
Excellent attention to detail
Good communication and problem-solving skills
Experience in customer service or retail preferred
A driving licence is desirable but not essential if based locally
