Location: Wigton, Cumbria
Role Type: Temporary to Permanent
Hours: 40 Hours – 08:00 – 17:00 – Monday to Friday
Rate: £14.80 per hour

We are currently recruiting General Operatives to join a well-established and busy business based in the Wigton area. This is a hands-on role supporting a variety of ongoing projects, offering consistent weekday work and an immediate start.

This opportunity would suit someone who enjoys practical work, being part of a team, and getting stuck into a range of tasks within a fast-paced environment.

Key responsibilities
• Assisting with a range of on-site projects
• Handling, moving and organising materials
• Using basic hand and power tools
• Supporting skilled team members with day-to-day tasks
• Maintaining a clean, safe and organised working environment
• Following all health and safety procedures

About you
• Reliable with a strong work ethic
• Able to work effectively as part of a team
• Willing to take on a variety of practical tasks
• Able to travel to the site, as there is no public transport available
• Previous experience in a hands-on or labouring role would be beneficial but is not essential
