Hours: 40 Hours – 08:00 – 17:00 – Monday to Friday
Rate: £16.51 per hour

We are currently recruiting an experienced joiner to join a well-established and busy business based in the Wigton area. This is a hands-on role working on the build and finishing of high-quality timber structures, offering consistent weekday work and an immediate start.

This opportunity would suit someone who takes pride in their craftsmanship, enjoys working as part of a team, and is confident working across a range of joinery tasks in a fast-paced environment.

Key responsibilities
• Carrying out a range of joinery tasks, including assembly and finishing work
• Working with timber to produce high-quality structures and fittings
• Reading and working from technical drawings where required
• Using hand and power tools safely and effectively
• Ensuring all work is completed to a high standard
• Supporting the wider team with project delivery
• Maintaining a clean, safe and organised working environment
• Following all health and safety procedures

About you
• Proven experience as a Joiner or in a similar role
• Strong attention to detail and pride in your work
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, hands-on environment
• Able to travel to the site, as there is no public transport available
• Relevant qualifications would be beneficial but are not essential
