We are working on behalf of a well established buisness based in Carlisle who are looking for a General Manager.

Our client is seeking a hard working individual with fantastic people skills to join the company and take it to the next level.  The successful candidate MUST have a driving licence.

Responsibilities include:

  • Managing two offices in different locations 
  • Supervising staff performance for management
  • Overseeing staff development and training
  • Liaise with Director about upcoming projects
  • Manage a team of 260+ staff members
  • Commute to offices and sites to ensure optimal performance
  • Work with staff to bring the best out of them and to motivate the team

Skills:

  • It is essential that the successful candidate is trust worthy and can be open and honest
  • Knowledge of the principles of business administration
  • Familiarity with process improvement principles
  • Performance management skills
  • Excellent leadership and delegation skills
  • Ability to communicate effectively
  • Patience and attention to detail
