NXT is proud to be working with a well-established family business as we support the growth of their HR team. As an integral member of the HR team, the HR Business Partner will play a pivotal role in aligning HR strategies with business objectives to drive organisational success. This role requires a strategic mindset, strong interpersonal skills, and a comprehensive understanding of HR functions. The HR Business Partner will collaborate closely with senior management and various departments to deliver HR solutions that enhance employee engagement, performance, and retention.

Responsibilities will include:

  • Partner with senior management to understand business objectives and develop HR strategies aligned with organisational goals
  • Act as a trusted advisor to department heads and managers, guiding HR policies, procedures, and best practices
  • Proactively identify opportunities to improve organisational effectiveness and employee engagement through HR initiatives and interventions
  • Lead talent management processes, including workforce planning, recruitment, performance management, and succession planning
  • Drive employee development initiatives, including training, coaching, and career development programs
  • Manage employee relations issues, including conflict resolution, disciplinary actions, and grievance procedures
  • Analyse HR metrics and data to identify trends, assess the effectiveness of HR programs, and inform decision-making
  • Stay abreast of legal and regulatory developments affecting HR practices and ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations
  • Collaborate with HR colleagues to streamline HR processes, enhance HR systems, and promote a culture of continuous improvement
  • Serve as a champion of the company's culture, values, and diversity and inclusion initiatives

Skills and Qualifications:

  • CIPD-qualified or Human Resources degree or equivalent
  • Proven track record of successfully implementing HR programs and initiatives that drive business results
  • Strong knowledge of HR best practices, employment laws, and regulations
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build relationships at all levels of the organisation
  • Strategic thinker with the ability to translate business needs into actionable HR plans and initiatives
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities effectively
