Maintenance Team Member

Location: Carlisle
Salary: Experience Dependant 
Hours: Full-Time (Monday  – Friday)

We are recruiting on behalf of a well established business park who are looking to appoint an experienced Maintenence Team Member to maintain high standards of cleanliness, safety and opperational efficiency.  We are looking for 2 decated and skilled Maintenance Technicians to join their team and contribute to the upkeep and improvement of their facilities. 

Key Responsibilities:
 

  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs on buildings, grounds, and facilities to ensure optimal functioning
  • Conduct regular inspections to identify and address maintenance issues
  • Handle minor electrical, plumbing, and HVAC repairs
  • Infrastructure i.e. drains, civils and other general repairs and maintenance
  • Respond promptly to maintenance requests from tenants and management
  • Maintain records of maintenance activities and report any significant issues to the maintenance manager
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations at all times
  • Operate and maintain maintenance equipment and tools
  • Assist with landscaping, emptying of bins and collections of litter
  • Collaborate with external contractors for specialised repairs or installations

 
 
Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent; technical school certification is a plus
  • Proven experience in maintenance, repair, or a related field
  • Strong knowledge of joinery, plumbing, HVAC, and general building systems
  • Ability to operate hand and power tools safely and effectively
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Valid driver’s license
