We’re recruiting a Service Advisor to join a busy and well-established dealership, where customer care and teamwork sit at the heart of everything they do. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working with people, stays calm in a fast-paced environment, and takes pride in delivering a high standard of service.
As a Service Advisor, you will be a key point of contact for customers throughout their service journey, ensuring they feel informed, supported, and looked after from start to finish.
The role:
You’ll be responsible for coordinating service bookings, communicating clearly with customers and the workshop team, and ensuring all administration is completed accurately and on time. This is a varied role where no two days are the same and where attention to detail and a friendly, professional approach are essential.
Key responsibilities:
• Welcoming customers in a friendly and professional manner
• Managing service bookings using a digital diary system
• Advising customers clearly and honestly on work required, including any additional recommendations identified during vehicle checks
• Keeping customers updated on progress throughout their visit
• Maintaining accurate and up-to-date customer records
• Completing all administration, including invoicing and job documentation
• Preparing upcoming bookings by confirming appointments, checking parts availability, recalls, and service plans
• Handling payments in line with company procedures
• Coordinating courtesy vehicles, ensuring they are ready for customer use
• Liaising closely with the workshop team to monitor progress and resolve queries
• Supporting customer follow-up processes to maintain high satisfaction levels
• Building positive working relationships with customers, colleagues, suppliers, and external partners
About you:
• Friendly, approachable, and customer-focused
• Confident communicator with a professional manner
• Organised, reliable, and able to prioritise effectively
• Comfortable working both independently and as part of a team
• Proactive with a positive attitude and willingness to take ownership of the role
• Previous experience in a customer service or service advisor role would be beneficial, but not essential
If you enjoy working with people, take pride in delivering excellent service, and want to be part of a supportive and professional team, we’d love to hear from you.
