Location: Wigton – Rural, own transport essential
Hours: Full-time and Part-time opportunities available
Pay rate: £12 – £13 per hour, negotiable experience dependent
NXT is proud to be working in partnership with a long-standing client as we recruit permanent Warehouse Operatives to join their friendly and hardworking team. This is a busy and varied role and responsibilities will include:
- Collecting order documentation and delivery notes from the office throughout the day
- Carefully picking and packing products for daily dispatch
- Planning with the Warehouse Supervisor for future orders and optimising packaging strategies
- Safely loading outgoing pallets onto lorries for dispatch
- Coordinating parcel collection and assisting with loading
- Managing incoming stock storage efficiently
- Collaborating on identifying low stocks and initiating re-orders
- Maintaining warehouse safety, cleanliness, and handling waste disposal
Skills and Experience:
- Driving licence required
- Forklift licence is desirable but refresher training can be provided
- Excellent eye for detail and ability to work accurately
- Good numeracy and literacy
- This role involves heavy lifting and manual handling
